Five people were shot and wounded at the Chapel of the Chimes mortuary in California late Thursday night.
Union City police, responding to several 911 calls, arrived at the scene and found three people suffering from gunshot wounds, according to Nixle.com.
Emergency personnel found two other victims with gunshot wounds near the Hayward funeral parlor.
A person who answered the phone at the chapel confirmed an incident to the Daily News, but declined to comment further.
A call to the Union City Police Department was not returned.
No arrests have been made and an investigation is ongoing.
