Boxer Jermall Charlo has $150G in cash, jewelry stolen at club

NEW YORK DAILY NEWS
Pro boxer Jermall Charlo lost more than $150,000 in cash and valuables when a group of women swiped his bag at JAY-Z's nightclub in the Flatiron District, police sources said Sunday.
Charlo, 27, spent Saturday night at the Barclays Center, then went to the 40/40 Club on W. 25th St. near Broadway in Manhattan with a group of friends, sources said.
The middleweight pugilist got involved in a fight at the club at about 3 a.m. Sunday. During the commotion, one of the boxer’s buddies left a Louis Vuitton bag unattended on a table, sources said.

When Charlo returned to his seat, the bag and its contents — $40,000 in cash and $115,000 in jewelry — had vanished.
Cops reviewed surveillance footage and spotted five women, dressed for a night on the town, leave with the bag.
Cops are searching for these women in connection to the robbery. (NYPD)
Charlo, who has fought unbeaten in 26 matches, held the International Boxing Federation’s light middleweight title until February 2016, when he moved up to middleweight. He battles Hugo Centeno Jr. on April 21.
His twin brother, Jermell, is also undefeated and has held the World Boxing Council light middleweight title since 2016.
Police are also searching for this suspect. (NYPD)
Police released video of the women and are asking anyone with information to call Crime Stoppers at (800) 577-TIPS.
