The grieving family of a Brooklyn woman killed in a fiery car crash during Friday’s nor’easter was struggling to understand how the freak accident happened.
Anaida Duran, 42, was driving on E. 32nd St. near Farragut Road in East Flatbush around 10:45 a.m. when she suddenly lost control of her car and struck several parked vehicles and a tree before her Nissan burst into flames.
“I don’t know what happened with that accident. I want to know what happened,” Duran’s distraught grandfather, Pablo Medina, said Saturday.
Duran’s grief-stricken mother had already begun the grim task of planning her daughter’s funeral Saturday evening, relatives told the Daily News.

In life, Duran worked as a music promoter under the alias “A.D. The General,” her grandfather said.
“She was a good girl. She does promotions, rap music. That was her job,” Medina, 65, said.
As a young girl, Duran was a member of the “Toxic Avengers of El Puente,” a group of environmental activists who fought to close down a radioactive waste facility in Williamsburg, according to a 1990 report from Mother Jones.
