Mother and 7-year-old son jump to their deaths from Midtown high-rise

A woman and her 7-year-old son plunged to their deaths from a Midtown high-rise motel hotel early Friday, cops said.

The 46-year-old mother and the boy dropped from a window of the Gotham Hotel on E. 46th St. near Fifth Ave. and landed on a roof next door about 8:15 a.m., police said. They both died at the scene.

The identities of the two victims were not immediately released.
