A woman was fired when she brought a tray of laxative-laced brownies to a co-worker's farewell party.
MMI Engineered Solutions in Saline on May 3 on a tip that a female employee put laxatives in the brownies, MLive reported.
Other employees said there might've been tension between the 47-year-old woman — whom police didn't identify — and he departing co-worker.
The woman initially denied she tampered with the brownies. But she later copped to the contaminated confections when she found out the food would be tested, according to MLive.
No charges were filed because police said no one ate the brownies.
