Janet Jackson is still nasty.
The legendary musician returned from a nine-year hiatus from televised performances to rock the stage at the Billboard Music Awards Sunday night, rocking a medley of her greatest hits, including "Nasty," "Throb" and "If."
The 52-year-old singer also accepted the Icon Award, which recognizes artists "whose body of work has made a profound influence over pop music on a global level," from Bruno Mars. Jackson is the first black woman to win the award.

"I'm deeply humbled and grateful for this award. I believe that for all the challenges, for all our challenges, we live at a glorious moment in history," she said.
"It's a moment when, at long last, women have made it clear that we will no longer be controlled, manipulated or abused. I stand with those women and with those men equally outraged by discrimination who support us in heart and mind."
