Drake, Kendrick Perkins trade barbs during Cavs' win over Raptors

NEW YORK DAILY NEWS
Drake could use some help with his international diplomacy as the Raptors’ global ambassador.
The rapper and Raptors super fan got into a heated courtside shouting match with Cavaliers reserve center Kendrick Perkins during Cleveland’s Game 1 overtime win in Toronto Tuesday night.
The scuffle started at halftime, when Drake interrupted his chat with former Raptor Jose Calderon to break up a conversation between Perkins and Toronto center Serge Ibaka as the teams headed off the court.
Perkins, who remains inactive for the Cavs after playing in just one game this season, told ESPN in a text message, “What happened was I was talking to my old teammate Serge [Ibaka] walking into halftime telling him, ‘We about to win this game,’ and Drake butted in talking s--t to me. So I said something back to him.”
“He said something slick,” Perkins added in reference to Drake, “so I said something back: ‘Sit your ass down and watch the game.’”
“I’m here in real life,” Drake said, according to The Toronto Star’s Bruce Arthur, who reported the rapper called Perkins a “f--king p---y” as security guards from both sides converged on the sideline.

Perkins was escorted into the tunnel as Drake called for him to come back to the court, according to Arthur. Tempers were kept under control during the second half, but after the Cavs clinched their thrilling 113-112 victory in OT, a similar scene erupted and forced security to once again lead the two their separate ways.
Drake managed to get in the last word on Instagram, responding to a post from Tidal.com’s Elliott Wilson with another pleasantry.
“I just said I liked them hem on his capris,” Drake wrote.
This isn't the first time the rapper has talked trash this postseason. During the first round against the Wizards, Drake shouted "You're a bum!" at Washington's Kelly Oubre Jr. from his front-row seat.
The Raptors can tie their series with Cleveland at one game apiece Thursday night in Toronto. And Perkins knows just where to look if he wants to strike back on his own.
