Conor McGregor in police custody after attacking bus at Barclays

NEW YORK DAILY NEWS
Mixed martial arts fighter Conor McGregor was taken into police custody in Brooklyn Thursday night for his role in a melee at the Barclays Center, authorities said.
McGregor, 29, turned himself in at the 78th Precinct Stationhouse in Park Slope to potentially face assault charges, according to police sources.
The strapping Irishman was caught on video attacking a bus in the arena’s garage with his entourage, according to TMZ.
In the running chaos, one of McGregor’s cohorts allegedly tossed a chair through the bus's windshield.
MMA fighter Michael Chiesa was cut up and bloodied in the brouhaha, the gossip website reported.

McGregor was stripped of his lightweight title by the UFC on Wednesday. He later tweeted, “You’ll strip me of nothing you’s do nothing c--ts.”
A day prior, his teammate, Artem Lobov allegedly got into an argument with another fighter, Khabib Nurmagomedov, who was on the bus at Barclays.
Lobov was with McGregor during the fracas.
“The organization deems today's disruption completely unacceptable and is currently working on the consequences that will follow,” the UFC said.
“Immediately, Lobov has been removed from this weekend's card and individuals involved in the incident are not welcome at tomorrow's ceremonial weigh-in or Saturday's event at Barclays Center.”

UFC head Dana White called the bus vandalism, “criminal, disgusting and it makes me sick," according to USA Today.
“I don’t know if he’s on drugs, or what his deal is,” White said of McGregor at a Brooklyn press conference.
“But to come and do this and act like this? You’re talking about a guy who has a baby, he just had a kid. This is how you’re acting? You have a son at home.”
McGregor lost his UFC title due to inactivity. He last fought in November 2016, when he beat Eddie Alvarez.
Last August, he stepped into a boxing ring for the first time to take on the undefeated Floyd Mayweather Jr., and lost via TKO in the 10th round.
