Trump administration accuses Russia of targeting U.S. energy grid

Russia has been running an operation to penetrate the U.S. power grid, the Trump administration charged Thursday.

The announcement comes as the U.S. hits Moscow with more sanctions for its efforts to influence the 2016 election.

And earlier Thursday, Russia expelled British diplomats in retaliation for a U.K. expulsion of foreign officials earlier this week.
