New father Travis Scott pleaded guilty to disorderly conduct nine months after the rapper allegedly incited a riot at his Arkansas concert.
Scott, whose real name is Jacques Webster, was arrested in May 2017 after he “encouraged people to rush the stage,” according to the Rogers Police Department.
The 25-year-old rapper was charged with inciting a riot, disorderly conduct and endangering the welfare of a minor, but the misdemeanor charges were dismissed.
Scott’s attorney, Doug Norwood, told the Northwest Arkansas Democrat-Gazette that the disorderly conduct charge could be expunged.
“They overcharged him,” he told the newspaper. “They tried to get him for inciting a riot. The video did not show any of that.”
As part of the deal, Scott paid $6,825.31 to two people who said they were injured during the riot and another $640 in court costs.
Scott and girlfriend Kylie Jenner recently welcomed daughter Stormi, whom the rapper immediately declared the “new rager in town.”
