A man accused of dismembering and decapitating a young Oregon model has pleaded not guilty to her brutal slaying.
Jeremiah Johnston, 35, appeared in a Washington County courtroom on charges of murder and first-degree abuse of a corpse after 28-year-old Sara Zghoul’s remains were found stuffed into suitcases in the trunk of a BMW in Aloha, Ore., last Thursday.
Johnston was on suicide watch after trying to cut his throat and slit his wrists before cops arrested him, according to The Oregonian.
Authorities haven’t revealed a relationship between Johnston and Zghoul or a motive for this grisly slaying.

A Investigators have linked the BMW to Johnston, but haven’t said who owns the car, according to the newspaper.
Johnston previously did time between 2014 and 2017 for drug possession and firearm raps.
