Kylie Jenner reveals baby daughter’s name in sweet Instagram post

Get ready to weather the storm of another curious Kardashian baby name.

Kylie Jenner, 20, announced on Instagram Tuesday her baby daughter with boyfriend Travis Scott is named Stormi.

The makeup mogul shared the new moniker with a sweet photo featuring baby Stormi, born Feb. 1, gripping Kylie's manicured thumb.

Jenner announced the birth of her daughter on social media Sunday, explaining that she’d never confirmed her pregnancy because she wanted to experience it out of the spotlight.

“I knew my baby would feel every stress and every emotion so I chose to do it this way for my little life and our happniess,” she wrote. “Pregnancy has been the most beautiful, empowering, and life changing experience I’ve had in my entire life and I’m actually going to miss it.”

The baby's unique name follows sister Kim's decision to name her baby daughter Chicago, after the hometown of husband Kanye West.

It remains unclear if Stormi will take Kylie's last name and join the Jenner clan, or if she'll adopt the last name Webster, Scott's given surname.

Many fans on Twitter were taken aback by the announcement, as internet detectives had thought Jenner would name her daughter Mariposa, the Spanish word for butterfly. Jenner has a well-documented affinity for the insect, and named her most recent lip kit Posie K. Scott also released a song called "Butterfly Effect" nearly nine months ago.

Social media users had plenty to more to say, including The Roots frontman Questlove, who tweeted, "Up next: Stormi."

Some fans quickly questioned whether the family had bothered tuning into the news lately, where adult film star Stormy Daniels has been making headlines for her alleged affair with Donald Trump.

"Kylie Jenner & Travis Scott Name their Baby Girl Stormi so Donald Trump gave it 130k to stop crying to the press," comedy writer David Brody wrote.

"It's not the best time to name your kid Stormi," wrote another Twitter user.
