Florida police reportedly had professional wrestling boss Vince McMahon in a half-nelson years ago on a groping case, but prosecutors let him escape their clutches.
A Boca Raton tanning salon employee accused McMahon of trying to kiss and grope her after a bronzing session in January 2006, according to police documents the Daily Beast posted Friday.
McMahon allegedly tried to show the 22-year-old Tanzabar Tanning Salon employee his nude and semi-nude pictures on his phone. The woman told McMahon, then 60, to stop and the tycoon tanned himself.
Afterward, the woman claims McMahon attempted to kiss and fondle her before she could get out of the room.

McMahon’s lawyer told police his client denied any and all wrongdoing.
The sun salon’s managers and owners didn’t want the police notified, but the worker wanted to press charges, the Daily Beast reported.
The official document said there was “probable cause to believe” McMahon “actually and intentionally” touched the woman against her will.
But the case fizzled when Florida state prosecutors said the case wasn’t up to snuff.
A Palm Beach County State Attorney’s Office spokesman told the Daily Beast, “Prosecutors have to file at a higher standard, which is proof above a reasonable doubt. It’s a much different standard than probable cause.”
The WWE chairman and CEO said this week he’s rebooting the XFL, a professional football league that ran for one season in 2001.
