One day after the author of a White House tell-all book said President Trump was "like a child," the commander-in-chief defended himself on Twitter by boasting that "mental stability" is one of his greatest strengths.
Trump also took another shot at his favorite target, Hillary Clinton, in a series of tweets early Saturday.
"....Actually, throughout my life, my two greatest assets have been mental stability and being, like, really smart," the President wrote. "Crooked Hillary Clinton also played these cards very hard and, as everyone knows, went down in flames. I went from VERY successful businessman, to top T.V. Star....."
He added that he became President "(on my first try)."
"I think that would qualify as not smart, but genius....and a very stable genius at that!" he wrote.

Journalist Michael Wolff, author of "Fire and Fury: Inside the Trump White House," told the "Today" show on Friday that people close to the President believe he is a "moron" and an "idiot." Wolff said insiders say President Trump acts "like a child."
Trump repeatedly has attacked Wolff's credibility, and did so again in a tweet Friday night.
"Michael Wolff is a total loser who made up stories in order to sell this really boring and untruthful book," he wrote. "He used Sloppy Steve Bannon, who cried when he got fired and begged for his job. Now Sloppy Steve has been dumped like a dog by almost everyone. Too bad!"
Bannon was prominently featured in the book, which was available for purchase on Friday.
