Shooting reported at Texas high school, gunman in custody

Police were seen responding the the active shooting, where the suspected gunman was taken into custody. (NBC 5)
A shooting was reported Monday morning at a high school in Italy, Texas, and the suspected gunman is in custody, the local sheriff’s office confirmed.
The Ellis County Sheriff’s Office didn’t immediately say if anyone was wounded in the shooting, which happened sometime before 8:30 a.m. local time.
A text message from the school district’s superintendent to parents indicated one person was wounded during the shooting, who was rushed to a hospital, according to ABC affiliate WFAA
The shooting reportedly took place at Italy High School in Texas.(GOOGLE)
The shooting happened at the Italy High School, the Austin American-Statesman reports.
Students were moved by bus to a nearby elementary school, where they’ll be dismissed when police say it’s safe.

The kids are being moved, under guard to the dome as the investigation continues. SHOOTER IS IN CUSTODY.

Authorities tweeted that “kids are being moved” to a safer location under guard. 
Italy is located about 45 miles south of Dallas, and bills itself as the “biggest little town in Texas,” with a population in the thousands, according to its website.
