The Trump administration is striking seven words and phrases — including “science-based” and “diversity” — from official budget documents, according to a Friday report.
Analysts at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention say they were given a list of terms that are now banned from any budgetary requests sent to the Trump White House, according to The Washington Post.
The forbidden language includes “entitlement,” “transgender,” “fetus,” “vulnerable,” and “evidence-based,” the paper reported.

The now-taboo terms will not be used in official documents from the Atlanta institute, which issues reports on health promotion and disease prevention in the United States.
