A Staten Island man stabbed his roommate in the stomach in their apartment Sunday afternoon, police said.
The two men quarreled inside an apartment on Main St. at Amboy Road in Tottenville at about 2:15 p.m. — about two blocks away from the NYPD’s 123rd Precinct stationhouse, cops.
Police couldn’t say why the spat turned bloody.
Medics took the stabbing victim, identified by police sources as Jesus Peralta-Flores, 39, to Staten Island University Hospital.
His injuries were initially life-threatening, but he’s since been stabilized, cops said.
Police were still looking for the roommate Sunday night, and checked the area around the Tottenville train station shortly after the stabbing.
