Super Eagles captain John Obi Mikel, Neymar Jr of Brazil, Andres Iniesta of Spain, Toni Kroos of Germany alongside 28 other World stars participated in the latest FIFA World Cup video released ahead of the Final draw in Moscow, Russia.
32 players - each key men in the teams heading to Russia took out time to congratulate each other. The video features a mosaic of languages and includes, among others, Mikel doing his best to speak Spanish as he welcomes Costa Rica while Spain's captain Iniesta Iniesta in Spanish welcomed the Super Eagles to Russia.
Neymar did his best to speak Farsi, Robert Lewandowski congratulating Egypt in Arabic and Egyptian midfielder Mohamed Elneny giving a good account of himself in Icelandic.
From Russia star Fyodor Smolov to Jefferson Farfan, who booked the last World Cup spot with Peru, the players - speaking in the order in which their teams qualified - recorded the following statement, the first part in their mother tongue and the second in the language of the team being congratulated:
