An inexperienced driver crashed through a brick wall in Brooklyn and then abandoned his wrecked vehicle in a panic, leaving behind a trail of chaos Monday, cops said.
Luc Roodgerry, 23, was driving a blue Nissan Altima when he flew through the intersection at E. 49th St. and Flatlands Ave. in Flatlands about 1:40 p.m. Monday, slammed into two parked cars and smashed through a brick wall before finally coming to a stop in a yard.
He managed to extract himself from the mangled wreck and ran off, only to show up not long after at the 63rd Precinct stationhouse in Flatlands.
The police officers investigating the crash found him there when they returned from the crash, cops said.
Roodgerry, who has a learner’s permit and was driving someone else’s car, told police he ran off because he was scared.
Police gave him two summonses, one for leaving the scene of a crash, the second for operating a motor vehicle with the wrong class license.
